The Life of Milo....

Milo will be turning one in July! I can't believe it's almost been a year since I found the parking lot kitties and brought them home to foster. I am a poor animal sucker...see here!

There's the Milo...laying on his back with the fat little tummy!

Can't walk quite yet!

Milo's pinup picture!

hehehe some things never change!

It's amazing how much joy an animal can bring into your life. Never a dull moment with my Milo around....thanks for all the laughs little buddy.

  2. Lucky Milo, He found a good home. Really Cute. Who can resist such a cute, fluffy face?

  3. Actually, many people could resist him because he was a super duper Mr. hissy pants! He was not a very nice little kitten...that's how I ended up with him..hahaha no one wanted him! But he out grew it or perhaps I just broke him down with my lovin ways! :) He still has lots of cattitude and is very shy of strangers...but he good at keeping me warm on a chilly night which is okay in my book! My little buddy Milo!

  4. aww, he is SO cute! He looks just like my Esteban. Esteban was a stray too. Someone in my neighborhood moved and left him behind. My apartment manager knew I had a kitty so she called to see if I wanted another. He has 6 toes on one paw and 7 on the other. Everyone thought there was a something wrong with him so no one wanted him! I loved his crazy paws so I took him in. When I met my husband, he hated cats and Esteban hated men...and now you can't get them apart! Last Summer, he ate a tylenol and almost died! My husband and I maxed out all of our credit cards to save him and now, she's the same as he's always been...he's the man of the house, loves the ladies and uses his extra toes like thumbs to pick things up and choke the other cats! *lol*

  5. I also have a cat with attitude. His name is Nigel Bunster XI (aka bunny, booboo, bunnybutt, and "PLEASE let me sleep"). I also think we were very lucky to find each other (at the humane society) because he can be quite a handful when he is in a mood.

He has teeth problems and the vet believes he may have been abused when he was little. It amazes me how resilient living creatures can be because he is one of the most loving animals I have ever met.

All I know is, he's set for life now:)

  7. OMG Brittany you have one of those Hemingway cats! The vet thought Milo was one too at first because of his really big paws! hahaha...that's a great cat story...I mean besides from the almost dying part and maxing out the credit card!

Tart...you have that right, it amazes me how resilient animals can be...to bad people can't learn that lesson themselves!

    Amber...you so need a kitten! hahaha :)

  8. They grow up too fast... :)
My neighbor had a cat with one extra toe on each paw. She was bred to be a ships cat and sailed on the medieval ship in Malmö harbour. A real charmer.

  9. My orange rag-doll mix cat Felix came from the people next door, the lady had rescued the mama and taken care of them and kept them as mousers... but alas Felix was an 'Egg Breaker' he'd roll them out of the hen house and crack them on the concrete and then he ate an entire batch of quail chicks... So the Lady next door booked him a life long stay at the Casablanca. :) I love that crazy kitty! Congrats on Milo cat's got it pretty good!

  10. Oh my goodness! There is NOTHING in this world cuter than baby kittens. Happy early birthday, Milo!

By the way, Milo was the name of one of my first cats. He was an orange tabby. My mom had our veterinarian call me on Christmas Eve morning. He told me there were sleigh tracks all over his parking lot, and Santa had dropped something off for me. So we went and picked him up. I named him Milo since Milo and Otis was my favorite movie, of course. It was a great Christmas.
