I've got lots of work to do out there! Moving plants, trimming back, fixing the fish pond, and planning! But it's all worth it once Summer rolls around and I get this!
That is so much better then this from a month ago!
Congratulations to Moxie Tonic......who won the cheongsam dress! I will put it in the mail next week for ya!
Wow, that second photo is just gorgeous! Isn't it amazing the changes a garden goes through from season to season? Some elbow grease now yields a beautiful panorama later...
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your garden. I remember your posts from last year and I was 100% jealous.
ReplyDeleteOur little teeny iris and crocus were just staring to bloom yesterday but now they're covered in snow.
So glad to see winter on its way out the door!
ReplyDeleteYour walkway is so pretty. And I think I spy a big grey cat hiding in some of the bushes :)

I feel the same way! It's been mighty cold here in Utah and we actually had snow the other day. I'm so glad that the weather is turning and we're going to be able to enjoy Spring! I love your yard!
ReplyDeleteI think spring has finally made it's way to Vegas as well. Unfortunately with our summer heat my garden will never look as pretty as yours. Post lots of photo's for me xxx
ReplyDeleteI hear you! Went on a walk and saw the first crocus and did a dance of glee! Your daffodils are already up? Nice! Not yet here in the Cleveland, OH area. Good things are coming; can't you feel it?
ReplyDeleteLynne...no daffodils yet..those are old pictures from the other year...but that's pretty much what it looks like every year end of March into April....I sure am enjoying the 70 degree weather out there today!
ReplyDeleteYAY SPRING!!!!
70 degree weather, get outta here! Don't forget you have UK readers too, spare a thought ;o)
ReplyDeleteYou have such a gorgeous garden! I love it when the flowers start to peek out of the ground, it makes me very happy :)
ReplyDeleteI am wanting to do that soooo bad, but we got 5 inches of snow here in Missouri last night. 60's yesterday. Blah! Anyway that is great and it gives me hope that we too shall experience Spring soon! Zootsuitmama
ReplyDeleteMy daffodils are up here in south west Missouri! Of course, we have had 7 1/2 inches of snow today and it's still coming down, so I'd say their chances of survival are slim. I'd be happy to share some of our snow with you - I hate to hog it all! It was 70 degrees here yesterday, and today the highest I saw was 31 degrees - not a pleasant change!
ReplyDeleteToo bad you don't live in SoCal, I'd pay you to work some magic on our garden.
ReplyDeleteCheers!!
Strangely enough here in the south is is SNOWING! Yes, we have 5" here so far today!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is absolutely gorgeous! In wintertime I always forget just how pretty the garden will be, and then those daffodils pop open and they are like little rays of sunshine through the gray winter skies. This week my iris, weeping cherry, and crab apple trees should bloom. Yay!
ReplyDeleteOh I can't say how THRILLED I am now that Spring is here!!! And this weather is amazing...it better stay that way! And your garden is amazing!

I am so jealous of your garden. We just moved into our house last year and have dedicated all of our work to the inside so far. This year we're going to work on the outside. Right now, there's no landscaping, but the yard is so big I have no idea where to begin! It's really frustrating, actually. I wish it could look like this though. That gray kitty looks like he loves it!
