Pushing Daisies

One of my favorite TV shows....that got canceled in only 2 seasons. What I loved most about this show was the candy colored world all the quirky characters lived in. The wardrobe and set design was amazing. I wanted to move to town, live in Olive's apartment, and eat at the pie hole!

Did anyone else enjoy this show too? If you haven't seen it, check out the video below!

  9. My husband and I loved this show, it was total eye candy! Sad that it was canceled when there is so much bad TV still airing. The DVD's are on our Netflix queue, we plan on re-watching many times...

  11. Can I also say how sad I am they never showed the last couple episodes? It ended in a weird spot. Unless they showed them and my DVR missed it. But I think they just never aired them.

  13. Pushing Daisies was the only reason I bothered to turn on the television for those two seasons!
Not only was the show a wonderful visual treat, it was incredibly well written.
Such a tragedy the networks picked it up instead of cable.
I mean, I can still watch them on dvd, but it would have been nice to have some closure on a few of the story-lines. Not to mention, even more episodes of fabulous retro inspired sets and costumes!

  16. I LOVED Pushing Daisies and I LOVE Anna Friel! I was lucky enough to get 2nd from front row seats to a performance of 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' that she recently starred in in London's West End. There she was sitting a meter away from me in a bath robe & red lipstick playing guitar & singing, beautiful! She really suits the vintage look.

  20. We discovered it through Netflix and watched it all the way through. A real shame it got canceled. Lee Pace also appeared in another show with a very similar vibe - Wonderfalls. The Uncle says check it out.
