Out and about on the streets of Newton NJ, enjoying the last days of Spring! I hope you're out and about enjoying the last days of your season where ever you live too! Oh how I love me a cute, cotton Summer dress...and this one has been added to my top 10 favorite Summer dresses. Yes, I have a top 10 of favorite Summer dresses.....don't you??? Well, you should!! Go make one.
I'm wearing:
- That awesome vintage peasant style bow dress I found at an auction a few weeks back.
- My favorite red 1940's sling back peep toe heels with bows
- A lucite purse
- Some bakelite bangles
- And a vintage pair of cats eye shades
Yup, hate me cause I've got tiny little size 6 feet!
I love the print on that dress! It's so pretty! Also even though I shall be jealous of your tiny feet, at least you're giving beautiful shoes a good home!!!
ReplyDeleteHey girl! Congrats on the nuptials! Funny, my bus ride has come to an end (hopefully for good). My new BF bought his house in Newton. Cute town. Love it out by him. We go out for rides on his triumph around the back roads up there. Last weekend we ended up by Highpoint (amazing views) and Hawks Nest down by Port Jervis. Things are starting to look up in my world. Got a job interview tomorrow. Cute dress! Love your posts!
ReplyDeleteI love the shoes. They're perfect! I, too, am proud of my small shoe size, but I'm more like a 6 1/2!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I've been wondering...Being in NJ, have you ever been to the Wildwoods? I've been wanting to go for years to see the mid-century motels. Just curious.
I am more envious of that dress than I can express. I am dying of green jealousy here! But I am happy you have it to love and wear. You look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteCutest dress EVER. Really. Still can't believe your luck with finding things sometimes :)
ReplyDelete....you're just fine.....
ReplyDeleteThat dress is just about the cutest thing ever! I think I need to sew up my own version of it.
ReplyDeletethis totally cordinates with my most recent post, how do you do it Miss Deluxe?

Jennie...Must her more about your new BF Bus! I'm happy to hear things are starting to pick up for you!
ReplyDeleteSusie O... I am acutally in North west NJ and fair distance from Wildwood. I have however been to Wildwood many years ago and the place has a great do-wop retro vibe to it! it's definitely worth a visit! Cape May is also a must for a visit in my opinion too.
Andrea...I would LOVE to see what you come up with!!!
Crystal...Thank you kindly!
Desi....OMG girlie has it ever been a long weird journey. I have another bus stop goddess post in me just dying to come out! haha
OOH that dress is fantastic! I've been obsessed with patterns that include bows on them lately. That's one of the best items I've seen in that department!
ReplyDelete(And p.s.: a big, huge belated congrats on your courthouse wedding, you guys looked SO stylish in your pics! Wishing you many, many years of happiness!!)
