Bus Stop Goddess

...there are so many things in my life that I can't change. Things that I have no control over. In my 20's I spent way to much time hating myself over things I had no control over instead of realizing just how great my life was at that moment. What an incredible waste of time. If I could tell my 20 something self something right now it would be..... deal with it and get on with living the moment..... stop wasting your time thinking your ass is to fat or your breasts are to small.... go out and make some history just the way you are.... time's a wastin, shake what the god lord gave ya!! Oh why did it have to take me till my 30's to learn that lesson??? I guess better late then never!

I've also learned in my 30's not to put up with other people's bull shit. I live by one simple rule, if you can't be nice to me, if you make me cry more then you make me laugh, and you bring me nothing but drama and games .... then I'll see you later cause I'm not interested in having you around. I've got much better things to do with my time and more interesting people to meet. I love myself and know how I deserve to be treated.

  2. I hear ya, lovey. There are many lessons to be learned before a person can get to where you are now and some people never get there at all. I learned mine early on and I'm glad for it.

  3. Such good points! You've definately inspired me to take a look at all the things I loath about my physical appearance and to put a positive spin on things.

  4. Wise words, it doesn't matter when you learned it but that the fact that you did learn it!! The thing about being in your thirties is that I find I tend to appreciate myself and the things I like more. I've adopted pretty much the same attitude and I feel so much better about myself because of it.

    Awesome photo xxx
