Hey All

I know, I know....I said I would draw the winning name yesterday eeer...well, I got busy! I know right, how dare I have a life not related to blogging!!

Please send all your angry email to..... Idontgiveadamn@youneedtogetalife.com! Thanks!

I will do the drawing soon..promise! Until then take some time to stop and smell the flowers would ya...I know I need to! I am great, I can do good things, I love my whole house! Cheers!

I have to edit my post here to add the front garden at Deluxeville too! My iris out front has simply out done it's self this year! Simply stunning. I love coming home and seeing my front garden and I don't care what the neighbors think...getting rid of my front lawn=best idea ever! I only wish I had more room so I could plant more!

  1. Drat! I missed the deadline for the giveaway but I'll just have to vicariously enjoy it through the winner. And I'm enjoying looking at your lovely garden--what a wonderful place to relax!

  2. Life is for living not for blogging! Blogging is for writing about the life you're living, sometimes the 2 are not mutually compatible! The pics of your garden make me feel so restful :o)

  5. I would think that your neighbors would thoroughly enjoy the view. How could they not?

One of my favorite things to do at this time of the year is to sit in the backyard, look at the flowers, the manicured lawn, the tikis, and the ponds while reading some Ross MacDonald, and all the while swigging a few George Hornsby's hard cider ales. Life is so sweet!

  6. your gardens are gorgeous - getting rid of the grass in front yard was definitely the way to go, your house is much prettier and more welcomingthan the neighbors!

  7. This has always been my dream. There is a house not too far from me that's like this. They have a sign and it says "Yarden" instead of garden. Zootsuitmama
