MaryDeluxe's Atomic Tortellini Soup
4 cans of Swanson Veggie broth

1 can white beans
1/2 cup of sliced baby carrots
1 cup green beans (from Sgt's garden)
1/2 cup sauteed onion
Italian type herb seasoning to taste
1 bag of frozen tortellinis added 10 min before serving

Put everything in a big pot, simmer on low for an hour then add tortellini right before serving.

Bread is Bob's Red Mill 9 grain bread mix made in my bread machine....who says cooking has to be complex? Lets keep it simple!

  2. I was cooking from the pantry again! Soups are really hard to mess up, that's another reason why I like em....I can't cook but soups make me look like I can!!

  3. I like it when people share simple recipes. I like to cook more difficult stuff, too, but from blogs I usually pick the simple ideas because I can remember them. Thank you!

  4. 'SImple'-y Delicious! Just what a guy needs after a Saturday spent placing flagstone and spreading stone dust! Any rumors that this gal can't rock the kitchen just aint true.....

  5. This sounds great and it so soup weather here, in my neck of the woods (Midwest...bleh). I do believe that I will make this next week! Just made "Little League Stew" today, in the crock pot. It's getting time for the comfort food! Oh, and you have your soup served on MY dishes! I'm still trying to find extra pieces. Found my set at a church rummage sale! Thanks for the recipe!

  8. I have the tiles that match your plate in my kitchen along with the 1958 Western Holly oven which still works. I hide the tiles though as that doesn't go with my things but they are there.
