Kitschmas in DeluxeVille 2008

Unfortunately I don't think I will be doing Kitschmas this year. Not because I am Bah Humbug or anything...it's because of *"Milo the Monster"* and the potential he has for the destruction of my Kitschmas decor. I can just see him now swatting at vintage ornaments and breaking them. I already lose a few each year to my adult cats. I could just imagine the damage those little clawed paws could do! Oh the HORROR! Since it's been snowing here all day, I've been in a Kitschmas kinda mood. So, here's some various pictures of Kitschmas in Deluxville 2008!!

Tomorrow I will tell you all about the freezing 5 hours I spent outside at an auction. Why yes, I'm crazy!

*kittens are evil!!

  4. DD...come on over doll, I'll whip up some egg nog!

Phenolicfanatic ...hehehehe crazy like a loon.

Claire...well lets see I'm 37...wore vintage clothing in high school and collected little things...when I moved out of my parents place in my early 20's that's when I began collecting EVERY type of vintage thing out of necessity. I was poor and finding a 40's/50's sofa at Goodwill was easy and cheap. Plus I liked the look. Some people change their style often...I have been stuck with this style for a very long time!

Paige...Thank you...that dress is one of my favorites found all wrinkled in a wad at the bottom of a plastic bin. $11 and fit like a dream...now it way to big and I can't wear it anymore :(.

  17. I love vintage Kitschmas ornaments too but I completely understand about cats. My two are now old and lazy, but I remember when they were kittens; they were little trapeze artists. I lost quite a few lovely things that first year :(
