The East Coast is having one hell of a snow storm...the only thing going on around here is....SNOW! I can't open my back door! hahahaha
Winter
Summer! I prefer summer!
Winter!
Summer! Yup still prefer summer!
EDIT:I won the battle of my driveway! This is me after 3 hours of shoveling out front and my back driveway! There is absolutely nothing glamorous about shoveling snow that's almost up to your waist. I'm predicting that this is exactly what hells like!
I definitely prefer summer too! I think I'm going to try to take snow photos of the hacienda, but it's white, so it might just disappear! We've been hit hard here, bummed that our Retro Roadmap flight to Tampa for tomorrow has been cancelled. C'mon snow, cut it out! Hope you have a swell day puttering around Casa De Luxe, as I will here!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary, I really enjoy your blog, and I love your garden! I'd way rather be looking out at that than all this snow. Not looking forward to taking my dogs for a walk today...
ReplyDeleteCats and sleighbells? Mush-Mush..!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow....
ReplyDeleteYup Im for Summer as well! Just looking at all that snow makes my Texas 41 degrees feel like a heatwave! Stay Warm!
Ready for this?- (talk about a strange snow pattern!)-- where I am from you, we only got a dusting! A. Dusting. I'm doing a jig of joy! (sorry.)
ReplyDeleteBurrr. Love your home and gardens. Spring will be here soon.
ReplyDeleteWE HAVE NOTHING here in NY just flurries! as of 11:23 am nothing!!
ReplyDeleteI love your long skinny back yard.
ReplyDeleteI also love the music on your blog... but did you know every time we post a comment it reloads and starts a new song, and every time we do the verification screen it does it AGAIN?? Then I have to hit reload a few times till I get the same song again.
I like both the summer and winter. Seasons are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWinter is pretty especially when you can just look at it and not have to be in it. Summer is my favorite too !
ReplyDeleteOhh! The view is great!! But I guess it's too cold there..and yes, I guess I prefer summer too!
ReplyDeleteMore snow?!?! Thankfully we have none over here, i hope it melts into spring very soon for you! xx
ReplyDeleteSouth Jersey got hit with the same storm, Mary. I was outside 3 times today, shoveling what I believe is 30" of white stuff. Is is summer yet??
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD! You did that? Amazing! Break out the hot cocoa and marshmallows!
ReplyDeleteCrikes who needs a gym membership when you have to shovel all that snow!
ReplyDeleteYour home in the summertime is glorious! Personally, as someone who rarely ever sees more than an inch of snow every few years, I am somewhat envious of all that white fluff. Of course, once you mentioned shoveling I don't think I was that envious anymore, he-he.
ReplyDeleteI can't even begin to imagine what it's like to have to shovel all that snow. You are an amazing woman xxx
ReplyDeleteuh, ick. and i was whining cuz we had some rain yesterday!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that much snow is absolutely crazy! You poor thing having to shovel that much snow, that would put me in such a bad mood!!
ReplyDeleteNow you dont have to work out!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your yard. I need to learn how to do that.
ReplyDeleteIt was so weird that we didn't get any snow here (2 or 3 hours north of you, I believe), but looks like we'll get a bunch tonight and tomorrow. Btw - that's some impressive shoveling you did!
ReplyDeleteYes, that is exactly what Hell looks like - I just came from there! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou are my hero Ms. Deluxe: that was a lot of snow to move around!!
What a lovely garden in the back, and I love your front walk border. Glad I stumbled upon your blog. Fabulous!
