“If you look deeply into the palm of your hand, you will see your parents and all generations of your ancestors. All of them are alive in this moment. Each is present in your body. You are the continuation of each of these people.”
Love the picture of your aunt!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad someone else looked like a little boy too! My Mom always gave me a "pixie" cut. But you were still really cute! You look similar to your Mom in this picture. Love family pix! Zootsuitmama
ReplyDeleteLove the photos! My mom always cut my hair short from the age of 7 until I was 13 and able to care for it myself. I think that is why I will always wear my hair long.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely picture of you and Aunt Dot! I see sassiness runs in the family :o)
ReplyDeleteYour aunt Dot must be one tough cookie. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a heartwarming blog post. Clearly you cherish your very special family. Love those shades!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very cute post
ReplyDeleteI have a Grandpa George too!
Well hmm maybe lots of people do. *lol*
My mom always cut my hair in a pixie and my schoolmates always asked why I got a haircut that made me look like a boy!
ReplyDeleteLovely picture of you and your AUntie :)
Sassiness does run in my family....we rock it hard! :)
ReplyDeleteIT was the 70's - many of us gals were mistaken for boys! Damned pixie haircuts!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that photo of you and sassy Aunt Dot. Total keeper!
I have to say I recognize the story of looking like a boy as a kid and going 50s ladylike as a grown up ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd what a lovely picture of you and aunt Dot!
