Ruth Janet Shaw's 1960 drivers license. No photo identification needed! This was the only thing I found in the wallet. Interesting how the wallet is monogrammed Ruth G. Shaw but her drivers license says Ruth Janet Shaw. If only I could get away with having a wallet this small..oh and my name was Ruth!
Oh I love it! How gorgeous :) Auction find?

ReplyDeleteThis post is like a little angel talking to me. My dad is very sick, he will be 85 on Thursday. He had a sister named Ruth and I had a cousin named Ruth. They have both passed, but with this post I feel it is a sign that they are with him, watching over him. Thanks

ReplyDeleteThat wallet is so cute.love the detail.Think it's cool the drivers license was in there.Great find.
ReplyDeleteMy middle name is Ruth. I hate it! When I got married I officially changed my maiden name to my middle name (and did away with 'Ruth') which is maybe what this Ruth did?
