Good Things #1 Books
Summer reads....I picked up two new books from the book store tonight. I rarely buy books anymore, I prefer to go to the library because it's free but tonight I decided to treat myself!
Good Things #2 Purging
Purging DeluxeVille of crap! Hurry come pick the junk pile before the junk man comes and takes it all away! I know you all want to...there's lots of treasures in there!
My Sgt has two dogs and The Bear is my favorite. Awww he even looks a little like a bear don't ya think! He's a sweet dog...the cats however were like "WTF" and really happy when he left!
I love reading, I'd love to go through your junk pile but most of the all I love Bear!! I'm a doggie person I'd love a dog but we just don't have th time to devote to one, but he would convince me, so cute!
ReplyDeleteDuuuuuuuuuuuuuude I SO wish I lived near you, I'd be on that pile of stuff like a bear on trash!!
ReplyDeleteHmmm....hoping to hear more about your Sgt!!!
Tanks so much for the extra little gifts in with my pants! Made my day. =D And the lovely card, too.

What a cutie he is. Chocolate Labs are just gorgeous aren't they (not to eat silly!). But I'm sure it's something of a 'shake up' for the felines! Hope the bus takes you to some wonderful destinations over your *(well deserved) summer break :) P x
ReplyDeleteDoes that porch glider have a back? If so I'll come out and get it!
ReplyDeleteI heard those Laurie Notaro books are good/funny. Our library was out of her books so I am waiting for "I thought you'd be prettier" by the same author. I WISH I could blink myself up there like"Jeannie" on that TV show. I see a bunch of things I would give a good home to. That's one big puppy! cute. Hope the kitties get used to him :o)
ReplyDeleteStraight Talking Mama...The Bear is the best...very laid back like me and just enjoys hanging out on the floor...the perfect dog!
ReplyDeleteRina...oh something tells me you'll be hearing more about the sgt and our various adventures!
Hugs to you Andi! Enjoy!
Paddy...Chocolate labs are yummy but black labs are better :)
Susie...nah, that JR Bunting glider is not on the junk pile...it's on the project pile. Just had to move it out to get to the junk! It still has the back and I also kept the original cushion springs for when I reupholster it someday!
Dina...I love Laurie Notaro books...they're the hoot. I also enjoy Jennifer Weiner books, good summer readings!

ZOMG! I love those Chairs and they will actually go with my grandmothers china cabinet and table (the chairs were destroyed by my Uncle long ago... long story.) My parents live in Brogue, PA (near York). Are you somewhere around there? I won't be able to get them until this weekend. Please e-mail me. snotmuffin(at)gmail.com Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteWalterBean....which chairs?? The metal ones with the black and square fabric on them?? Those aren't in such hot shape though the fabric is excellent on them...I should know that's one of my fabric designs I did years ago when I was designing fabric...I redid my old kitchen chairs in it...I'll email you.

I love to read, wish I had more time for it!
ReplyDeleteI think I spot a red patio chair in that pile? I call dibs ;-)
What I would give to live nearby! Sigh............
ReplyDeleteBear looks sweet, and the cats will gradually get used to him. My dog & cats snuggle together now!
Cute puppy !! Doesn't getting rid of unwanted or no longer useful stuff make you feel liberated.
ReplyDeleteyour junk pile is my treasure chest. why can't you live next door?
ReplyDeleteHoly Sh*t! That's the stuff you are GETTING RID OF??? I would pass out cold if I found that for free in someone's alley!
ReplyDeleteLOL- that's OK- I should have known that you wouldn't dare part with that! Can't wait to see the pix when you finally get to that project- I'm sure it will be fabulous!!!!
ReplyDeleteCan we get a higher res version of the junk pile with a few different angles so we can virtually pick through? I'd gladly drive out to Deluxville if I saw something Retro Roadmap worthy!
ReplyDeleteIm going to lancaster tomorow! Where is this at? will it be there?
ReplyDeletealex.haines@rocketmail.com
The junk man is coming and the junk man will take it all away tomorrow! And I will be free and the neighbors will be like... Thank Gawd!
